
ATB (Africa Travel Bureau) Safaris is a Tanzanian owned company that has been operating small group and tailor-made Tanzania, Zanzibar and Kenya safaris since 1990.
Indafrica is the representative office for ATB Safaris in New Zealand.

Founded by Solomon Daudi, the company is now led by the next generation, his son’s Paul and Jospeph. The ATB office is in Arusha Tanzania with partner offices in Zanzibar and Kenya.

Small Group Safaris
Group Size: Limited to 6 passengers travelling in a customised 4WD Toyota Land Cruiser. Everyone has a window seat and the roof ‘pops up’ for game viewing and photography.
Ages: The minimum age is 12 with an accompanying adult. Accommodation used on many tours is spacious enough to allow triple or even quad share. There is no upper age limit, though travellers over the age of 65 will need to supply medical certificate stating they are fit and healthy to join the tour they have booked on.
Guides: Each tour is accompanied by a qualified English-speaking driver-guide. Each is Tanzanian born and bred and have an in-depth knowledge of the areas we visit. Their game-spotting skills are legendary as is their wildlife knowledge.
No Single Supplement Applies if we have two single travellers booked on a safari of the same gender who are willing to room share then we will waive the single supplement. If you do want your own room throughout, then a supplement will apply.
Private & Tailor Made Safaris

Exclusive to you: Travelling on your own or with family or friends you can choose from one of our suggested itineraries or alternatively we can tailor-make your safari to suit your travel dates, preferred standard of accommodation and interests.
Ages: The minimum age on private and tailor-made safaris is 6 years and there is no upper age limit. Those over 65 will need to provide a medical certificate stating they are fit and well to travel on the planned itinerary.
Number of People: The 4WD Toyota Land Cruisers seat a maximum of 7 people (1 person would be sitting upfront with your driver-guide). For groups larger than 7 we will price and run your safari with additional vehicles and guides. The roading/track network within the National Parks and Reserves of Tanzania are not suitable for other vehicle types.
