The NZ Government’s recent announcement has given us all in the travel industry a glimmer of hope that we will soon be joining the world of travel again soon.
I, like many people, have taken up other work to keep the wheels turning while we wait for better travel days. However, it has been really heartening to see friends who operate very similar businesses to Indafrica in other parts of the world operating again and our partners in Southern and East Africa welcoming travellers back to their countries.
In particular friends from Germany have made a number of trips over recent months and it has been very reassuring seeing and hearing about the process and procedures on the ground that are making travel as safe as possible.
India surprised us all by dropping their quarantine requirement and Day 8 PCR test on the 14th of February. Originally they signalled this change for the end of the month.
Over the coming days, I will be getting the website back in shape with the relevant dates and rates as they become available and updating clients and their travel agents.
Please bear with me as I work around my other work and family commitments.
