The Serengeti

The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is one of the most iconic and renowned wildlife destinations in the world. The park is home to an incredible diversity of animals, including large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and more.

One of the most famous highlights of any Serengeti safari is the Great Migration. In a never ending cycle, more than 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras and other grazing animals migrate across the park in search of greener pastures. This is a spectacular sight, with thousands of animals moving together in a mass movement.

The Serengeti is known for having some of the highest densities of lions in Africa, as well as large numbers of leopards and cheetahs. Visitors to the park can expect to see these animals hunting, stalking and playing in the wild. Additionally, the Serengeti is one of the few places in the world where the endangered black rhino can be observed in the wild.

In addition to the incredible wildlife, the Serengeti also boasts a stunning landscape. The park is home to a wide range of habitats, including savannah grasslands, woodlands, and rocky outcroppings.

A Serengeti safari offers visitors a chance to experience a true wilderness and to witness nature in its purest form.   It is truly a once in a lifetime experience that will leave an indelible impression on all those who visit.
